This is an absolutely beautiful book. Of course, he stresses supervision and consultation to those new to the field, which is critical, but his outlay of the process helps those who have not experienced it to know what to expect and avoid the pitfalls. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a food journal. The printing was more than good enough for me to pick out detail in any photo I was interested in.
Since there probably won't be a storm like this again, and few photo essays have emerged that ascend beyond pandering to emotion, Hurricane Katrina: Through the Eyes of Storm Chasers gets a definite thumbs-up from me.. However that is over shadowed by the cuteness of Mitch's kids and the personality of his dog and her cat along with the cast of supporting characters.
