This is a beautiful compilation of the personal stories of many of the most famous and dedicated scientists of our times. I scale, reconfigure or combine the patterns. I followed this book up with Home by Design by Susanka. But it is all arranged in the most interesting ways and each place looks welcoming and comfortable. Narrative provides insight into the Bechtel family company leaders & how they transformed the company into the largest government construction contractor in US history.. I highly recommend. certainly a must read for any upcoming geologist/and or working geo- you also get to learn and hear about some history of various mines/oilfields around the world- but it also serves as a great mentor/encouragement to women in this industry- amanda is an amazing inspiring woman!!!.
