About the AuthorGavin Bell designs social web applications for the Nature Publishing Group. He is an interaction designer, community advocate and product manager. Since the early 90s, he has been writing and designing for the web. Large scale web applications covering identity, on-demand media, geolocation and social software have been the main focus of his work at NPG and previously at the BBC. He has worked in academia, advertising, publishing and developed multimedia software. He lives in London with his wife and two sons. Today the opposite is true; items are made by people never seen and in places never known about. I L-O-V-E "The Decorated Bag" by Genevieve A. Kolbert has a wonderful way of engaging the experts who she’s interviewing, to the point where it doesn’t seem as though she is a journalist gathering evidence for a compelling and informative story but rather a very curious and keen student. Sifting through an eclectic mix of artists including Pavement, Neil Young, Liz Phair, Uncle Tupelo and the Grateful Dead, Williams digs deeply into the music. Three! There is also a two-page reproduction of a travel brochure, with a few more TINY interior images.
